Family Health International (FHI) is seeking qualified candidate for the following positions; MONITORING AND EVALUATION Senior Evaluation Officer 2 (Abuja) Minimum recruitment standard MPH, M.D. or similar degree in monitoring and evaluation, medical statistics or related field (a Bachelors Degree will be considered with additional experience); 3-5 years experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in reproductive health or HIV/AIDS programs in developing countries; sound knowledge of statistics; experience working with local partners, including local NGOs and CBOs and knowledge of the local context essential, familiarity with USAID programs preferred. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (LAMIS) 3 (Taraba, Edo and Anambra) Minimum recruitment standard MB;BS/MD and MPH or related post graduate qualification (an MB; BS / MD degree alone will be considered with additional experience); 2-3 years clinical experience in HIV/AIDS programs in developing countries with additional 1-2 years working with facility level data; experience working with local partners, including NGO's and CBOs and knowledge of the local context essential, familiarity with USAID programs preferred. Understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infection. Ability to work well with government facility staff. Good analytical and software skills and ability to pay attention to detail. Experience with standard statistical software (STATA or SPSS) an added advantage. Well developed written and oral communication skills. Experience must reflect knowledge, skill and abilities listed above. MEDICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT Senior Advisor (Orphans and Vulnerable Children OVC) 1 (Abuja) Minimum recruitment standard Graduate of medical or social sciences with 7 - 9 years post national youth service corps experience in community level, or in the private sector or similar degree and equivalent experience in public health or other relevant areas. Candidate must possess a minimum of four years experience in care and Support at the community level with evidence of increasing official / professional responsibilities. Experience working with orphans and vulnerable will be an added advantage. SHARED SERVICES DEPARTMENT Senior IT Officer 1 (Abuja) Minimum recruitment standard University science or engineering degree and 5-8 years experience in an Analyst or Support role or Equivalent. Proficiency in Windows-based Server Operating Systems Must have strong customer service and communication skills. Candidate must possess Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications. LABORATORY SERVICES DEPARTMENT Associate Director of Laboratory Services 1 (Abuja) Minimum recruitment standard Masters level degree in laboratory sciences, molecular biology, microbiology or related field with 10 years or Doctoral level degree with 7 years post national youth service in practical settings and a minimum of 5 years experience in laboratory management and support for HIV/AIDS care and treatment, two of which must be on an HIV laboratory management support donor funded program. Certification /license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist is a plus; Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system, donor agencies, NGOs and CBOs is also required.
