UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Communication Data Officer, NOB, Abuja Contract Type: Consultancy UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of Consultant to work closely with the National Social Mobilization Working Group (SMWG), Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) Working Groups and UNICEF and WHO Communication and EPI Teams to strengthen areas, relating to social mobilization data utilization and application with an aim to eradicating polio in Nigeria. The Consultant will support the Programme Communication Section, Abuja and will specifically be responsible for social data collection and analysis towards polio eradication efforts in Nigeria. Minimum Qualification & Job Requirement: a. Masters degree in statistics, social sciences, health discipline or related technical discipline. Certificate in data management and application, an advantage. b. Minimum of six years work experience in social data collection, analysis, application and management preferably, health programme related data, c. Knowledge of GIS software, e.g. Health Mapper, ARC View. d. Very strong background in computer data application and analysis. e. Excellent presentation skills, experience in training (ability to explain data analysis to non M & E people). f. Very good communication, analytical organizing and conceptual skills. g. Ability to produce clear and concise report. h. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with a team in difficult circumstances. i. Willingness to travel to remote areas and communities of the country. J. Ability to work harmoniously in an international and multi-cultural environment. k.
