RESPONSIBILITIES: The key roles and responsibilities of the Company Site Representatives include but not limited to the following: 1.To ensure compliance with all HSSE and SCD work standards as defined in the seismic data acquisition contracts. 2.To ensure that all technical work standards and specifications relevant to the seismic data acquisition as defined in the seismic data acquisition contracts are complied with by the Geophysical Contractors. 3.To constantly review the adequacy of the Geophysical Contractor's operations daily plan for workability and the assigned resources to maintain HSSE, SCD and technical quality and schedules. 4.To inform the Company in the event of any failure on the part of any of the Geophysical Contractors to comply with its contractual obligations and seek guidance on appropriate actions to be taken. 5.To report daily progress of the work, including HSSE, SCD, incidents, non-conformances and remedial actions taken, hours worked by the Geophysical Contractors and time categorization, quality and conformity with plans and specifications, etc. 6.To submit to the Company a comprehensive written final field area report within 30 days of survey completion. 7.To participate in pre-mobilization meetings, inspections and audits, accidents/incidents investigations, HSSE and technical meetings, inspections and audits and to also carry out any other assignment given in relation to the contract under supervision. 8.To undertake and spend about 60% of the time while on site inspecting line operations (survey, shot hole drilling and seismic data recording) ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the companies standards. 9.To verify the correct functioning of all the Geophysical Contractor's equipments and instruments prior to and during the duration of the survey. 10.To ensure that the conditions of approval and provisions of the Environmental Management Plan in the approved ESHIA documentations are complied with by the Geophysical Contractors. 11.To ensure compliance of the key roles and responsibilities of the CA Supervisors which include but not limited to the following: (i)To ensure that the communities in our areas of operation are continuously engaged and license to operate (LTO) are obtained. (ii)To ensure that enumeration and assessment of damages done to economic and cash crops are jointly done with the claimants (iii)To ensure that all the interactions with the communities are fully and properly documented (iv)To ensure that compensation for damages are duly paid and witness the payments in the communities (v)To ensure that earth roads damaged due to our operations are repaired and post repair inspections are done (vi)To participate in the investigation of any claims that may arise in the cause of the seismic work. (vii)To ensure that all C.A activities are properly documented Requirements: To be considered you should have: 1.A good academic record, ideally with a minimum of 2.2 degree (second class lower division) in Geology or Geophysics or Electrical and electronics. 2.A working experience of 15 years or more years of professional experience in a seismic field operations and must have attained at least Chief Seismologist and Party Chief Positions. Experience as Company Site Representative will be of great advantage. 3.Be prepared to work in any part of the country and be resident on crew while on duty. 4.Very high potential candidates with less experience will also be considered. 5.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 6.Marine / Deepwater seismic working experience. 7.Ability to learn and adapt to new skills in order to establish the root cause of technical and community related issues. 8.Ability to think on your feet and a desire to solve problems. 9.Experience in use of computer applications.
