The Coalitions for Change Programme (C4C) job vacancies in Nigeria The Coalitions for Change Programme (C4C) is an initiative designed to change the way in which government agencies relate to the public. C4C is supported by DFID. C4C is presently seeking to employ capable and experienced candidates for the following positions: 1) Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) / Knowledge Management Officer 2) Senior Project Officer 3) Web Manager 1. M & E OFFICER: (One year renewable Contract) The successful candidate will be required to manage all programme M & E data across to various Issue Based Projects (IBPs) at the programme office, as well as coordinate M & E activities in liaison with the Senior Project Managers embedded with the different IBP Coalition secretariats. Key Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the post holder include: Knowledge Management of programme and project activities and outcomes vis-à-vis the programme and IBP log frame outputs M & E Documentation The M&E / Knowledge Management Officer shall be expected to: a. Study and understand the C4C change philosophy with an eye to identifying and tracking and documenting MOVs of delivery on IBP output related activities. b. Understand C4C & all lBP the log frames c. Be familiar with DFID's Output to Purpose Review systems (OPR) weighing system d. Develop an analysis of the 'as is' situation of the IBPs so as to enable C4C Management evaluates the desired change at OPR level and at the end of the project. Minimum Academic Qualification and Experience A Bachelor's degree from a recognized University. A minimum of seven (7) years relevant post qualification experience, of which at least three (3) in M&E / Knowledge Management position Special Requirements A good working knowledge & understanding of Logical frameworks. Participatory Programme M & E skill Ability to identify and overcoming barriers to effective programme monitoring The ability to generate and collate qualitative & quantitative M&E data Data analysis skills Good report writing skills Good people skills Brilliant communication skills Previous successful programme experience in similar capacity will be an added advantage 2. SENIOR PROGRAMME OFFICER (One year renewable contract) The work of C4C is carried out through its various IBP coalitions. Each coalition has a functional secretariat responsible inter alia for ensuring effective communication between the coalition members, C4C, and other stakeholders, collectively and individually. The secretariat is also responsible for coordination the coalition's implementation activities towards achieving the outputs of the IBPs log frame. This implies the ardent need to embed competent & articulate individuals with the various IBP secretariats, who will act as liaison between the IBP coalition, the secretariat and the C4C programme office, to ensure synergy of activities, M & E data identification, classification & collation (according to the-overall C4C /IBP log frame outputs). Accordingly, C4C would need to engage the services of an experienced and skilled Senior Project Officer to achieve this. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Coalition Secretariat, the main responsibilities of the post holder will include: Knowledge Management of the IBP coalition's activities and outcomes in relation to the Outputs contained in the IBP logical framework Support to the IBP coalition on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) design, documentation and communications. Support to the coalition (secretariat) to ensure that the coalition delivers on its log frame outputs Design and management of coalition's communications plans including analysis of reportage and feedback to its relevant communities Any other task as may be assigned by the secretariat of the coalition Minimum Academic Qualification and Experience A bachelor's degree from a recognised University. WEB MASTER/COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT (One year renewable contract) Key Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the post holder include: Creating & maintaining Issue Based Projects (IBPs) secretariats' website Organizing, and updating information on IBP's coalition website Designing an e-newsletter for the IBP Researching information for e-newsletter Creating, managing & updating a List serve for the IBP Managing e-correspondence for the IBP Uploading and updating of IBP's website Troubleshooting of the IBP secretariat's computers. (LAN and WLAN) Network and internet Prompting IBP secretariat staff about the need for frequent back up of the official data from their various computers to the external hard drive, so as to avoid the possibility of data loss Responsibility for data recovery from malfunctioning systems Managing the IBP's official email accounts for staff - by configuring staff MS Outlook via the pop 3 account Providing IT consultancy related services for the IBP secretariat Management of shared resources on the IBPs network Installation of software and hardware. Maintaining IBP secretariat's staff data backup for safety (official e-documentation) Ensuring virus free PCs for the IBP's secretariat by running necessary antivirus and keeping the antivirus updated Managing a blog as desired by IBPs Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate is expected to posses: Relevant educational qualifications A good working knowledge & understanding of ICT Experience in Web site design & management Good people skills Brilliant communication skills Previous experience in similar position will be an added advantage. Remuneration The remuneration for the three positions is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidates' qualifications and experience.
