Job Description:
Duties: plans and performs routine installation, repair and maintenance work on instrument electrical/pneumatic equipment associated with the production and transmission of oil and gas.
Required skills include: working knowledge of, controls, process, SCADA, DCS, Electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, d/p cells, displacers, floats, pressure relays, pressure transmitters, positioners, switches (pressure, flow, level).
Work includes installation, repair, and troubleshooting of production and process instrumentation and control systems and components.
Work includes installation, repair, and troubleshooting of generator control and protection, switchgear, diesel and gas engine controls and instrumentation.
Applicants must identify training and experience with specific instrument and control manufacturers and equipment
Must be proficient at interpreting and working from technical manuals, understanding drawings, (P&ID¢s, Electrical/Instrument and Mechanical, etc), develop material lists.
Must be proficient in implementing and preparation of work plans.
Experience with ExxonMobil project construction operations and Safety practices is preferred.
Experience with electrical generation, low, medium and high voltage distribution systems. would be advantageous
