Nigerian Bottling Company Vacancies



The Nigerian Bottling Company Plc, the authorized bottler of Coca – Cola products and a leading producer of Alcohol – free beverage in Nigeria with a workforce of over 5000 people.
In line with strategic growth plans, Nigerian Bottling Company Plc has identified the need to fill the following positions:


FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER COMMERCIAL – Ref. Fin 01/09
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Commercial Director in running the cost control processes
• Monitor CAPEX spend (CDE's) and support the Commercial Director with alternate spending scenario
• Commercial project financial evaluation
• Support the financial planning and budgeting for the commercial function and develop rolling estimates
• Participate and contribute to the regional/area commercial review process from a finance perspective
• Coach and implement development plans for Associates.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc or HND in Finance and Accounts with a minimum 10 years experience in country BP reporting department, 7 years of which must be at management level within the FMCG industry.
• ACA and or ICAN certification.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with good skills of MS excel and BRP (like BASIS or SAP)

AREA FINANCE MANAGER – Ref. Fin 02/09
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information by plants in any assigned region
• Provide executive summary on plants weekly rolling estimate cost monitoring and highlight areas for management attention regarding possible overspend.
• Provide updates of finance training programs in accordance with agreed plans
• Ensure consistent improvement in control environment in the plant using finance rating score card
• Coach and implement development plans for Associates
Qualifications:
• B.Sc or HND in Finance and Accounting with a minimum 10 years experience in country BP reporting department, 7 years of which must be at management level within the FMCG industry.
• ACA and or ICAN certification.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with good skills of MS excel and BRP (like BASIS or SAP)

BUSINESS PLANNING MANAGER – Ref. Fin 03/09
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordination of the Annual Business Plan process.
• Timely consolidation of the plans in line with Guidelines
• Preparation of monthly rolling estimates and management commentaries
• Coach and Implement development plans for Associates
Qualifications:
• B.Sc or HND in Finance and Accounting with a minimum 7 years experience BP reporting department, 5 years of which must be at management level within the FMCG industry.
• ACA and or ICAN certification.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with good skills of MS excel and BRP (like BASIS or SAP)

TAX MANAGER – Ref. Fin 04/09
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare company tax computations Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and corporate tax office Ensure that the company's tax operations are compliant with statutory regulations and SOX
• Provide timely resolutions to tax audit issues by both Federal and state tax authorities.
• Coach and implement development plans for Associates.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc or HND in Finance and Accounts with a minimum 7years experience 5 years of which must be at management level within the FMCG industry.
• ACA and or ICAN certification.
• Good understanding of the national and state laws guiding taxation
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with good skills of MS excel and BRP (like BASIS or SAP)

PLANT MANAGER – Ref. SC 01/09
Key Accountabilities:
• Deliver quality products at the right time and mix to all depots
• Operate plant resources at optimum level of efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure implementation of agreed business plans to maximize profit
• Ensure planning and forecasting meeting are held to meet sales demand
• Eliminate waste/losses via usage and exploitations of management systems
• Maintain high standard of GMP, safety and security in the plants
Requirements:
• B.Sc/HND in Engineering or technology. MBA in management would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years experience, 5years of which must be at managerial level in FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of plant manufacturing and supply chain operations

PROCUREMENT MANAGER (TECHNICAL) – Ref. PR 01/09
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure proper supplier selection, and execution of the appropriate negotiation process with the identified panel of suppliers, according to technical specifications, the defined service level agreement and within the limit of the technical budget.
• Guarantee a proper and continuous market scouting and benchmarking through market analysis, being up to date on the characteristics of the technical market, verifying the solidity of the cluster of potentials suppliers in order to be aware of all the trends and to be proactive with the internal customer.
Requirements:
• B.Sc/HND in Engineering or Technology: MBA in managements would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10years experience, 5years of winch must be at procurement manager level
• Good knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance operations
• Excellent computer, communication and negotiation skills.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGER (East) – Ref. PAC 02/09
Key Accountabilities:
• Support the objectives of the Company through strong relationships and effective communications with all stakeholders.
• Monitor political developments, identify potential issues, evaluate threats and opportunities by analyzing impact on company and take appropriate actions
• Conduct regular surveys of key stakeholder groups and analyze enquiries from mass media and government officials
• Coordinate timely execution of sustainable CSR programs and conduct impact assessment of these programs on recipients
• Coordinate and implement company sponsored events
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Arts, Social Sciences, International Relations or Law.
• Minimum 7 years working experience, 5 of which must be at managerial level
• Good understanding of the Nigerian Constitution, national and international political environment
• Government /Public Relations experience would be an added advantage
